Assistant Controller - Remote

Overview

The Assistant Controller is a high-impact leader passionate about Spectrio’s products and mission, ensuring the highest standards of financial reporting integrity, operational controls, and GAAP compliance.

In Short

• Safeguard assets and ensure accurate recording of all transactions.
• Ensure accuracy of day-to-day treasury and general ledger accounting.
• Develop and issue timely monthly financial records.
• Ensure financial statements adhere to GAAP.
• Conduct financial statement reviews for accurate accounting.
• Conduct regular margin analysis for profitability.
• Lead financial integration of newly acquired entities.
• Act as a secondary point of contact for outside audit firms.
• Assist in overseeing inventory controls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or similar field.
• 4-5 years work experience in Public Accounting or 5-10 years in Private Industry.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP.
• Ability to work effectively both individually and as a team.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial data.
• Proficiency with NetSuite, Google Drive and Excel preferred.
