Tax Manager - Public Accounting - Remote

Overview

As a Tax Manager you'll be part of a small team experienced CPAs and EAs. You'll review all things tax, take charge of engagements, supervise and mentor your team, and build long-term relationships with our clients. This role is 100% remote (must live in USA).

• Reviewing individual, partnership and corporate tax returns for accuracy.
• Researching and drafting memorandum involving complex tax matters.
• Identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities.
• Handling and resolving tax disagreements.
• Overseeing complete tax research projects.
• Managing multiple engagements concurrently to meet client deadlines.
• Leading the employment lifecycle for team members from recruiting to performance management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA license or EA is required.
• 5+ years’ experience in reviewing tax returns.
• 5+ years’ experience managing staff.
• 5+ years’ experience in a public accounting tax group.
• 2+ years’ tax prep experience for high net worth individuals, S-Corps and their owners.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
