Overview

The South College Dean of Computer Science and Engineering is responsible for the curriculum, course content, assessment, faculty, and operations of the School of Computer Science and Engineering.

In Short

  • Responsible for curriculum and course content in Computer Science and Engineering.
  • Manage faculty across various campuses and programs.
  • Maintain and expand academic partnerships with industry.
  • Lead programmatic assessment and accreditation efforts.
  • Work with industry to create internship opportunities for students.
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote program growth.
  • Ensure alignment of industry certifications with coursework.
  • Oversee distribution of testing vouchers for students.
  • Report to the Chief Academic Officer.
  • Support both online and on-site students.

Requirements

  • Terminal degree (PhD) in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience managing diverse faculty in mixed remote and on-site teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Technical background in IT, CS, and EE.
  • Preferred experience with accreditors.
  • Substantial experience with higher education systems.
