South College invites capable, energetic, outgoing applicants to transform the lives of our students as a Nutrition Adjunct Faculty member in a fully remote role.

In Short

• Teach Nutrition courses in an online format.
• Help implement the college's mission of transforming student lives.
• Must possess a terminal degree in Nutrition.
• Preference for candidates with prior online teaching experience.
• Course topics include macronutrients, micronutrients, and dietary patterns.
• Focus on metabolism, wellness, and disease prevention.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
• Work from home in a fully remote capacity.
• Engage in an equitable and inclusive work environment.
• Report to the Operations Manager of Faculty Affairs.

Requirements

• A minimum of a doctoral or master’s degree in Nutrition.
• Completion of 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Excellence in postsecondary teaching preferred.
• Experience in LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, D2L).
