The Education Department Chair provides academic and administrative support within Competency Based Education, ensuring academic quality, faculty performance, operational effectiveness, and student success.

• Provide support in curriculum development, assessment, and academic planning.
• Support, mentor and evaluate Adjunct faculty.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Promote student success initiatives.
• Manage teaching load of 75 students.
• Additional duties as needed by the department.
• Requires remote engagement with faculty and students.
• Terminal degree in Education required.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in higher education.
• Strong communication and technology skills required.

Requirements

• Terminal degree in the field of Education from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated leadership or administrative experience in higher education.
• Previous teaching experience at the graduate level.
• Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills suitable for a remote environment.
