CBE Writing Lab Coach - Remote

Overview

The CBE Writing Lab Coach will support graduate students in developing their writing skills by providing feedback and facilitating tutoring sessions.

In Short

• Provide email feedback on graduate level student writing.
• Host live events and schedule virtual tutoring sessions.
• Respond to session requests through email or virtual meetings.
• Log all sessions for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with faculty to coordinate assignment expectations.
• Communicate clearly and positively with students.
• Respond to writing across all South College graduate courses.
• Host monthly live sessions on writing topics.

Requirements

• Terminal degree in Education, English, or a writing-related field.
• Knowledge of APA and AMA format.
• Prior tutoring experience at the doctoral level preferred.
• Effective communication skills in an online format.
• Attention to detail for reporting tutoring service usage.
