Internship in Communication & Advocacy - Remote

Overview

This internship offers the opportunity to support the humanitarian work of SOS MEDITERRANEE in the area of communication and advocacy, focusing on civil sea rescue operations in the central Mediterranean.

In Short

• Internship available from July to September 2025.
• 30-40 hours per week commitment.
• Work can be done remotely or in a hybrid model from Berlin.

Requirements

• Ongoing studies in politics, media, communication, human rights, or international relations.
• Interest in humanitarian issues and migration policy.
• Strong research and analytical skills, experience in text production.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Affinity for social media.
• Ability to work in a team and identify with the mission of SOS MEDITERRANEE.
• Knowledge in maritime rescue, international law, and migration issues is a plus.
