Linux Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Linux Engineer will support IT systems and handle ongoing requests from customers regarding Linux platforms and automation for a client in the BeNeLux market.

In Short

• Support of IT systems.
• Incident analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Linux system administrator or engineer.
• Proficiency in Configuration Management, using automation with Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Good understanding of Infrastructure as code.
• Understanding of virtualization principles and experience with platforms like VMWare, Xen.
• Very good knowledge of RHEL Linux distributions.
• Basic network knowledge.
• Working knowledge of monitoring solutions like Icinga, Zabbix, Nagios.
• Working knowledge of logging solutions like ELK, Splunk, GrayLog.
• Experience troubleshooting systems.
