Manual QA Engineer (Mobile) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our mobile team at Social Discovery Group, a leading social discovery company.

In Short

• Understand app features, workflows, business rules, and backend/API dependencies.
• Define and maintain test strategy, test cases, and checklists.
• Perform manual functional, integration, UI/UX, exploratory, and regression testing.
• Validate end-to-end workflows across mobile, backend, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Test on multiple devices, platforms, and OS versions.
• Execute smoke/sanity tests for new builds and pre-release validation.
• Validate store release builds including metadata, links, and deeplinks.
• Set up and maintain automation frameworks for regression and smoke tests.
• Generate and share test reports with coverage and results.
• Continuously improve automation scripts for speed and reliability.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of mobile app testing (iOS & Android).
• Experience in writing and executing test cases.
• Familiarity with API testing tools.
• Experience with test automation tools/frameworks.
• Understanding of regression, smoke, exploratory, and performance testing.
• Ability to set up and maintain test environments.
• Knowledge of version control systems and defect tracking tools.
• Skill in analyzing logs and debugging issues.
• Basic scripting/programming knowledge for automation.
