Databricks Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Databricks Engineer at Skyward, you will be part of a team supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by disseminating data to researchers focused on improving care quality and reducing costs for chronically ill Medicare beneficiaries.

In Short

• Design, implement, and support the Databricks platform.
• Build and maintain ETL processes for data integration.
• Monitor data pipelines and ensure reliable data processing.
• Implement methods for data transformation for analysis and machine learning.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts for data solutions.
• Ensure the secure operation of the Databricks platform.
• 3-5 years of experience in data and systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture and best practices.
• Experience with SQL, Python, and R.
• Exposure to Machine Learning frameworks.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency in cloud-based infrastructure, specifically AWS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
