Skyward is looking for a Data Analyst who is passionate about transforming complex datasets into actionable insights, particularly in the healthcare sector.

In Short

• Support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) with data dissemination.
• Ingest, validate, and document data from new sources.
• Provide technical guidance to federal researchers and healthcare analysts.
• Write and maintain production-quality code in Python, R, or SAS.
• Review analytic specifications and outputs for alignment with business rules.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Spot patterns and inconsistencies in data.
• Collaborate with technical teams and policy-focused stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare or government data sector.
• Strong skills in SQL and experience with large datasets.
• Knowledge of SAS, R, Stata, Python, or SQL.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify data issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
