Overview

Voltchat is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer with a backend-first mindset to work on a high-performance messaging client.

In Short

Architect, build, and scale backend services for WhatsApp client.
Optimize for speed and efficiency.
Work on real-time data processing and messaging APIs.
Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless UX.
Contribute to technical decisions shaping Volt's future.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Fullstack or Backend JavaScript/TypeScript developer.
Deep knowledge of Node.js, WebSockets, databases (SQL & NoSQL), and API design.
Experience with real-time messaging systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and a hacker mindset.
Comfort in high-autonomy, fast-moving environments.
Experience with performance optimization and debugging.
Bonus: Experience with WhatsApp Web reverse engineering or desktop app development.
