Senior Field Service Technician - Remote

Overview

The Senior Field Service Technician will perform installation and provide on-demand service and training for a variety of industrial equipment. This fully remote position requires candidates to be based in the Alexandria, LA area and involves frequent travel for service calls.

• Perform installation and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Provide technical support and training to technicians and customers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Document service activities and maintain customer relationships.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Coordinate service calls and manage schedules.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions.
• Prepare non-conformance reports and service bulletins.
• Conduct training programs for customers and service representatives.
• Work with inventory sourcing and part management.

Requirements

• High School Degree or Technical College Degree.
• 4-5 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of PLC systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Desirable: Professional courses in electrical, mechanical, or automation.
