Junior Insurance Technology Associate - Remote

In Short

• Assist with configuration, testing, and documentation of insurance management systems (IMS), portals, and workflow automation tools.
• Support QA/UAT cycles for new products, system enhancements, and form updates.
• Partner with IT leadership to identify and troubleshoot technical or logic issues in core systems.
• Review and interpret ISO Circulars to identify impacts on products and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Collaborate with insurance carrier and program partners to define and document requirements.
• Assist in maintaining forms libraries and documenting rule logic.
• Help organize and document project plans, Jira tickets, workflows, and SOPs.
• Interface with vendors and third-party platforms during system builds or enhancements.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives that improve data management.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in the property & casualty insurance space.
• Familiarity with ISO content, SERFF filings, or product compliance fundamentals.
• Interest in technology, systems thinking, and business analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and curiosity about how insurance data interacts.
• Exposure to policy administration systems (Vertafore, Guidewire, etc.) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of SQL, Excel functions, or form configuration logic.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar project tracking tools is a plus.
