Carbon Footprint Expert - Remote

Due to the development of the Business Assurance department in SGS Poland, which deals with audit services, management system certification, training, and verifications in Poland, we are looking for candidates for the position of Carbon Footprint Expert.

In Short

• Lead projects for clients:
• Estimate Carbon Footprint (CF) for organizations and products
• Verify CF for organizations and products
• Conduct Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
• Prepare Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)
• Conduct environmental audits – compliance, due diligence
• Certify green buildings (LEED, BREEAM, Green Building)
• Provide training
• Collaborate with other departments and SGS affiliates
• Work with NGOs and other partners

Requirements

• Higher education related to environmental protection, chemistry, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in managing CF projects
• Experience in a position related to sustainability
• Knowledge of ISO 14064, ISO 14067, ISO 14040/14044, ISO 14025, and GHG Protocol guidelines
• Very good command of English
• Category B driving license
• Proficient in computer use and MS Office tools
