SharePoint Product Specialist - Remote

Overview

The client is seeking a SharePoint Product Specialist contractor for a 12-month engagement for the Engineering Application Services Department as an ECM Business Analyst. This person will be responsible for business analysis and solution design in support of client’s Operations and Traffic business processes that are valuable to the transportation lifecycle.

In Short

• Design SharePoint and web-based solutions to support Operations and Traffic business processes.
• Break down design into manageable work items for the development team.
• Prioritize and track progress on work items and deliverables.
• Ensure timely and quality delivery of work items and documentation.
• Document program and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients to implement re-engineered business processes.
• Test SharePoint and web-based content management deliverables.
• Draft and deliver training materials for changed business processes.
• Consult with clients to prototype and debug applications.
• Provide quality control for program and project deliverables.

Requirements

• Proven Experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven Experience as a SharePoint Business Analyst.
• SharePoint design experience with Microsoft SharePoint lists, libraries, and content types.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
• Microsoft Suite experience (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Proven experience evaluating business processes and re-engineering.
• Proven experience writing clear and concise technical training materials.
• Proven knowledge of application development life cycle.
