Senior Front-End Designer - Remote

Overview

This role supports a large-scale digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing public-facing services, improving efficiency, and elevating user experience across multiple programs. The Digital Design and Delivery Division (“3D”) is the central hub for digital delivery, established to strengthen modern design capabilities, uphold high-quality standards, and ensure consistent value through user-centred, human-centred design practices.

In Short

• Work full-time across multiple digital transformation projects.
• Contribute to interface design, research planning, and usability testing.
• Develop creative, evidence-based front-end design solutions.
• Produce design artifacts such as wireframes and prototypes.
• Conduct usability testing and analyze accessibility requirements.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams involving product owners and developers.
• Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Support service reviews and contribute to service innovation.
• Translate research insights into user flows and functional prototypes.
• Contract expected to run for one year, with a possibility of extension.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Front-End/UI design for web or mobile applications.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Experience with human-centred design methods.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
• Experience working in agile teams.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Understanding of accessibility principles and usability standards.
