Manager, Private Equity and Hedge Fund Accounting - Remote

Overview

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Private Equity & Hedge Fund Accounting Teams. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service, accounting and administration services to our hedge and private equity fund customers.

In Short

• Responsible for accounting operations and resolution of accounting issues for clients.
• Main contact for clients, demonstrating expertise in offshore and domestic fund accounting.
• Manage delegation of funds to the team and coordinate new fund setups.
• Conduct year-end audit engagements in accordance with GAAP accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with government laws and regulations.
• Generate and reconcile accounting reporting, such as month-end valuation reports.
• Correspond with investment managers regarding inquiries on transactions.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide career pathing and training.
• Support new business development and client onboarding.
• Participate in professional development sessions to identify process improvements.

Requirements

• BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fund services industry.
• Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory or management experience.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet high standards of quality.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs.
