Fund Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Fund Accounting Manager is responsible for leading a team in fund valuation activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing financial reporting processes.

In Short

• Manage a team of professionals in fund valuation activities.
• Calculate daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAVs).
• Produce audited annual and unaudited semiannual financial accounts.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
• Complete regulatory and client reporting requirements.
• Identify and implement corrective action plans across teams.
• Serve as the primary point of escalation for queries.
• Develop and maintain business relationships.
• Support strategic goals and performance cycles.
• Implement methods to reduce expenses and enhance processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in accounting or related field.
• Chartered Accountant, CFA, or MBA preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in related area.
• ACCA certificate is an asset.
