Engineering Finance and Accounting Analyst - Remote

Overview

This individual serves as the Finance single point of contact for all Engineering, Research & Development (ER&D) spending for amortization of intangible assets. This individual works closely with Engineering and Product Finance staffs to manage and control all aspects of amortization on approved programs, including useful life and in service analysis.

• Lead full analysis and accounting for N.A. ER&D Amortization.
• Manage budget, forecast, multi-year plan, and actuals.
• Lead SOX controls relating to Amortization.
• Create detailed process documentation.
• Work with operational counterparts while practicing financial management.
• Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Work with large data sets and summarize material for management.
• Learn engineering's product development process.
• Minimum 8 years of core Finance or Accounting experience required.
• Excellent communication skills required.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of core Finance or Accounting experience.
• Superior navigation and comprehensive knowledge of PentaSAP.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in HFM.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• MBA, CPA preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Automotive industry knowledge a plus.
• Prior analyst experience.
• Experience in maintaining SOX compliance.
