Senior Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure platform solutions that support the development and deployment of software across SEEK.

In Short

• Lead and guide engineers in building, deploying, and managing scalable platform services.
• Design, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• Implement automation scripts and tools for provisioning and scaling cloud infrastructure.
• Improve platform health, security, and reliability.
• Drive Infrastructure-as-Code practices and automate cloud infrastructure components.
• Provide operational support as part of an on-call roster.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Conduct performance tuning and continuous process improvements.
• Contribute to SEEK’s Engineering communities of practice.
• Engage in constructive feedback loops with team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud providers and their Kubernetes services.
• In-depth knowledge of Argo CD, GitOps principles, and automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools.
• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
