Lead Technical Artist - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Lead Technical Artist with strong expertise in Unreal Engine 5 to help shape the world and technical foundations of our game.

In Short

• Lead and mentor the Technical Art team.
• Act as the main bridge between Art, Design and Engineering.
• Design, support and implement systems for procedural world generation.
• Develop workflows for Terrain generation in Unreal Engine 5.
• Drive implementation and optimization of lighting setups.
• Profile and optimize art assets and systems.
• Build and maintain Blueprints, scripts, and custom tools.
• Provide technical guidance on environment and asset pipelines.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with tech art to establish best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior/Principal Technical Artist.
• Strong expertise with Unreal Engine 5 and previous versions.
• Hands-on experience with PCG procedural environment generation.
• Knowledge of large world island/terrain generation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Lumen lighting and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of the Graphic Rendering Pipeline.
• Experience mentoring technical artists.
• Ability to guide cross-disciplinary collaboration.
