In Short

• Oversee and make critical decisions on live game issues
• Evolve and maintain best practices for development operations
• Work with the Backend & Infra/Platform engineering team to improve Marvel SNAP’s cloud infrastructure
• Manage vendor relationships and costs for AWS Cloud Infrastructure
• Coordinate release schedules for client and server hotfixes
• Create and approve pull requests, sometimes involving writing basic code
• Proactively identify and mitigate bottlenecks
• Ensure team works at a sustainable pace
• Production nuts and bolts: task tracking, bug assignment
• Champion the project vision to the team

Requirements

• Experience shipping and supporting a live game as a technical producer
• Hands-on experience with version control software like GitHub
• High levels of empathy and support for team members
• Positive leadership style and ability to stay cool under pressure
• Excellent communication skills in various formats
• Comfortable with ambiguity while reducing uncertainty
• Love for playing and making great games
