Senior Finance & Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

SECJUR is a rapidly growing legal tech company that has been changing the compliance market significantly since its founding in 2018. We are looking for a Senior Finance & Accounting Manager to join us as soon as possible, full-time or part-time, permanent employment, ideally based in Hamburg, Germany, but remote is also possible.

In Short

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB) for our German legal entity.
• Main point of contact for auditors and tax auditors.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
• Coordination of payroll with an external payroll provider.
• Support in payments and treasury.
• Regulatory reporting.
• Preparation of analyses and reports regarding balance sheet positions and tax-related topics.
• Coordination with Portuguese tax advisors.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in finance.
• Degree in business administration or comparable commercial education.
• Strong knowledge of HGB.
• Experience working with accounting and ERP systems (e.g., DATEV).
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Experience in group accounting is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and team player.
