Embedded Controls Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Create and implement embedded control algorithms for precision optical systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Conduct simulations and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain clear documentation of designs and testing procedures.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in embedded programming (C, C++, Python).
• Strong understanding of control theory and signal processing.
• 3+ years of experience in embedded systems or control engineering.
• Familiarity with hardware-software integration tools.
• Experience with motor control and precision tracking applications.
• Hands-on experience with electromechanical systems.
• Eligible to hold a security clearance.
