Civil Inspector - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Inspector to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will perform complex inspection tasks to ensure construction works meet specified plans and regulations.

In Short

• Ensure compliance with construction plans and specifications.
• Maintain a detailed diary of daily work activities and issues.
• Interface with the public and stakeholders to mitigate construction impacts.
• Coordinate daily with contractor’s foreman on work execution.
• Arrange for sampling and testing of completed work.
• Check line and grade of work for conformance with plans.
• Report questionable methods of operation by the Contractor.
• Process Inspection Requests and maintain their records.
• Participate in health and safety issues at the site.
• Act professionally in dealings with the Contractor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction supervision.
• Experience with airport/road/infrastructure projects preferred.
• Ability to read and enforce specifications and drawings.
• Fully computer literate with project-specific software skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with teams.
