Provider Enrollment Representative - Remote

Overview

The Provider Enrollment Representative is responsible for ensuring the timely enrollment of new providers and facilities with payors, maintaining existing enrollments, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

In Short

• Monitor and maintain provider directories and payor databases.
• Follow up with payors for effective dates and status updates.
• Update and maintain provider numbers in billing software.
• Assist with applications for national provider identifiers (NPI).
• Notify payors of practitioner practice changes.
• Perform account follow-up on enrollment-related denials.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries.
• Keep current with changes in managed care requirements.
• Initiate enrollment for electronic claims submission.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in billing, credentialing, or provider enrollment preferred.
