Hardware Design Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Hardware Design Engineer will work on complete engineering services and system engineering for high performance computing and large data analytics.

In Short

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph required.
• Experience using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog for digital circuits.
• Experience with FPGA Design and synthesis tools like Vivado and Quartus.
• Experience with Verilog/System test bench development.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of design simulation tools (Mentor, Cadence, Synopsys).
• Strong communication skills required.
• Onsite location at Fort Meade, MD, with potential for remote work.
• Multiple openings for various levels of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum three years’ experience in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design.
• Experience in reverse engineering is a plus.
• Five years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience with C/C++, Bash, Tcl/TK, and GitLab.
• Experience with FPGA design using Xilinx's Vivado Tool Suite.
• Exposure to embedded software development.
• Exposure to PCB design and development.
• Python scripting experience is desirable.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
