Accounting and Financial Statement Preparation Specialist - Remote

Overview

This role involves various accounting functions and financial statement preparation.

In Short

• Preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow statement, etc.)
• Oversee various accounting functions for clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation
• Handle month-end and year-end close process for clients, ensuring timely and accurate completion
• Handle tax preparation and compliance work for clients
• Provide audit support during client audits and prepare necessary documentation
• Manage onboarding process for new accounting clients, ensuring a smooth transition
• Proficiency in accounting software (Quickbooks, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and Excel

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certification is a plus)
• 3+ years of experience in financial reconciliation, accounting, and compliance roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
