Safeguard Global is a leading Global administrative business process outsourcing provider looking for a Payroll Specialist to assist in payroll processes for clients across various industries.

In Short

• Responsible for payroll calculation and processing.
• Maintain payroll records for new hires, leavers, and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with client contracts and local regulations.
• Deliver accurate and timely payroll outputs and reports.
• Manage client inquiries via phone and email.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Perform additional duties as required by the operations team.
• Maintain KPI performance on client allocations.
• 4 years of experience in German payroll required.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and verbal.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in German payroll and personnel administration.
• Fluent in German and good level of English.
• Experience with local payroll legislation in Germany.
• University degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
• Experience with German SAGE HR suite is a plus.
• Organized and methodical approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Competent IT skills with Excel and payroll systems.
• Ability to perform manual calculations if necessary.
