Overview

As an IT Operations & Cybersecurity Specialist at Sacred Byte, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations for clients and contributing to internal security projects, all while developing your security expertise in a fully remote environment.

• Handle day-to-day IT operations for clients.
• Provision and manage users in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Onboard laptops into MDM and coordinate remote device handovers.
• Triage first-line support tickets and escalate complex issues.
• Run weekly maintenance checks and document processes.
• Contribute to security projects, including CVE research and incident-response playbook drafts.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience required.
• Proficient in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Reliable internet and professional remote setup needed.
• Fully remote work with an async-first culture.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, helpdesk, or systems administration.
• Proven admin skills in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Comfortable with MDM platforms.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language.
• Strong written and spoken English; German is a plus.
• Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously.
