IT & Security Operations Specialist - Remote

Overview

As an IT & Security Operations Specialist, you’ll help rapidly scale our company’s IT infrastructure, security posture, and day-to-day operations. You’ll architect solutions that ensure everything runs smoothly—whether that’s data privacy frameworks, automated internal tools, or seamless identity and access management (IAM) with tools like Okta and Google Workspace.

In Short

• Support all of CollegeVine’s internal IT needs.
• Manage core IT infrastructure (Okta, Google Workspace, etc.).
• Develop and implement custom software solutions.
• Optimize workflow processes across the organization.
• Participate in the design and maintenance of security measures.
• Guide the implementation of data privacy policies.
• Conduct security audits and risk assessments.
• Partner with teams to align IT priorities with business objectives.
• Translate technical complexities for non-technical stakeholders.
• Drive projects end-to-end with full ownership of outcomes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT or security operations.
• Deep familiarity with Okta, Google Workspace, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience automating workflows using scripting.
• Solid grasp of security frameworks and data privacy regulations.
• Background in computer science or software engineering preferred.
• Fluency in using version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Passion for tackling complex challenges.
• Superb communication skills.
• Proactive self-starter with a high level of responsibility.
