PowerBuilder Developer - Remote

Overview

The role is going to be of a PowerBuilder Developer with one of our Public Sector clients located at 215 Garry Street Winnipeg Manitoba. The Developer will have a minimum of six (6) years’ experience developing new application solutions, upgrading existing applications, and providing continued support to existing applications.

In Short

• Develop new application solutions and maintain existing applications.
• Provide application support and quality assurance.
• Work with Architects to ensure appropriate solutions and technology.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Document application code and system configuration.
• Implement enhancements to existing applications.
• Analyze data integrity issues and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with a team to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean criminal record check status.
• Provide discounted remote working rate along with onsite rate.

Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in application development.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a PowerBuilder Developer.
• Experience with relational databases and stored procedures.
• Operational knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Familiarity with design patterns.
• Knowledge of cloud-based services.
