Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Remote

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), LCSW, LPC, Clinical Psychologist, or Marriage & Family Therapist, who will assist clients in nurturing behaviors and modes of thinking that increases their ability to cope and adapt to challenges. In Short

• Provide evidence informed counseling/talk therapy for clients with mild to moderate mental health conditions and/or substance abuse.
• Diagnose, treat, and help patients create coping strategies.
• Formulate short-term and long-term counseling plans.
• Identify clients with urgent mental health conditions.
• Provide written documentation of counseling sessions.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records.
• Utilize billing services for claims submission.
• Work closely with the front desk team for scheduling.
• Be responsive to the needs of clients and families.
• Arrive on time and prepared for therapy sessions.

Requirements

• Doctorate or Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Current Illinois Clinical Professional Counselor, Clinical Psychologist, or LCSW, LPC license.
• 2-4 years of experience in outpatient mental health counseling.
• Thorough recordkeeping ability.
• Experience using an Electronic Health Record System.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Dedication to maintaining ethical standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
