Financial Analyst 3 - Remote

Overview

The successful incumbent will join RTI International's Office of Finance. 

In Short

• Join RTI’s Office of Finance as a Financial Analyst.
• Support the Social, Statistical, & Environmental Sciences research group.
• Manage financials for a portfolio of research projects.
• Conduct ongoing project financial analysis and profitability assessments.
• Review actual costs for accuracy and initiate journal entries.
• Communicate financial conditions to project leaders monthly.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and budget proposals.
• Provide support for proposals as needed.
• Work remotely or from Research Triangle Park, NC or Waltham, MA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in financial analysis work is required.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
• Knowledge of US Government contractors and Federal Acquisition Regulations is a plus.
• Ability to learn new systems and familiarity with accounting systems is advantageous.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
