Senior Property Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Property Accountant will provide full cycle accounting support for the Scaled Seller Services business unit, responsible for billing, collections, and financial reporting.

In Short

• Provide daily accounting functions for the S3 business unit
• Deliver industry-leading service for clients in cash forecasting and reporting
• Prepare monthly financial reports in accordance with GAAP
• Present monthly financial reviews to Corporate Accounting and Senior Leadership
• Maintain accuracy of general ledgers and financial statements
• Support Property Accounting Managers with ad hoc projects
• Research new accounting laws and regulations
• Coordinate with AP for timely client account funding
• Perform cash receipt postings and client ledger reconciliations
• Provide assistance to auditors as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred
• 5+ years of Real Estate Accounting experience
• Experience in Public Accounting highly preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Adaptability and ability to multitask
• Client-focused with strong communication skills
• Ability to cope with ambiguity and change
