Fund Analyst - Remote

Overview

Baird Capital is seeking a driven and dynamic professional to work closely with our Portfolio Operations, Finance and Investment teams. This individual will play a key role in fund valuations, quarterly investor reporting, portfolio review materials, and portfolio financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

In Short

• Collaborate with Portfolio Operations leaders and Finance teams.
• Prepare quarterly valuation analyses for venture portfolio companies.
• Serve as the primary liaison for audit-related inquiries.
• Manage company capitalization tables and distribution waterfalls.
• Track and report monthly financial data for portfolio companies.
• Draft quarterly portfolio company write-ups for investor reports.
• Stay updated on portfolio company performance and participate in reviews.
• Support preparation of investor relations presentations.
• Generate financial analyses of portfolio companies.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in public accounting or transaction advisory.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Technologically adept with Microsoft Office skills.
