Overview

The NOAA Center for Satellite Applications and Research (STAR) is seeking a junior to mid-level scientist to support NOAA/STAR with knowledge of microwave satellite sensors for innovative use of satellite data.

In Short

  • Support NOAA/STAR with microwave satellite sensors.
  • Assess the quality of microwave data against simulated data.
  • Work with the Data Exploitation, Evaluation and Value Assessment (DEEVA) team.
  • Address scientific questions related to satellite observing systems.
