Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at Rise8, you will play a critical role in transforming the United States Government by building and maintaining software for the Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) ecosystem, ensuring real-time situational awareness for military and first responder users.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with the TAK ecosystem.
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or C++.
• Strong understanding of geospatial concepts and data formats.
• Experience with Test Driven Development and agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable in Linux environments and with container tools.
• Familiar with DevSecOps practices and tools.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and software architecture.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance for US Government work.
