Overview

As a Principal CPA, you will manage client relationships and provide strategic tax recommendations to help clients navigate complex tax landscapes while ensuring compliance and maximizing financial opportunities.

In Short

Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
Lead and mentor the tax team, including senior tax manager and accountants.
Prepare personal and corporate tax planning documents.
Review business and individual tax returns.
Develop and monitor KPIs for team performance.
Respond to client tax notices.
Create tax projections and analyses.
Research tax issues and respond to client inquiries.
Make recommendations regarding organizational structure and entity formation.
Assist clients with government programs and grant opportunities.

Requirements

CPA with 8+ years of experience in public accounting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong discretion regarding client information.
Proficient in cloud-based applications and tax software.
Experience with project management tools.
Proactive attitude towards improving processes.
Comfortable in client-facing relationships.
Able to work remotely and manage a flexible schedule.
Experience with accounting platforms like Xero or QBO.
Strong understanding of accounting rules and regulations.
