Backend Developer - Remote

Overview

The Backend Engineer supports the Juno Labs team by building and optimizing backend services to enable dynamic rule configuration and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) integrations.

In Short

• Develop and maintain backend services for dynamic rules configuration.
• Implement RAG hooks for intelligent SOP retrieval.
• Integrate backend solutions with AI/ML and observability components.
• Optimize system performance for real-time SOP retrieval.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on backend design.
• Secure backend APIs and data flows.
• Test and validate backend services for reliability.
• Document system architecture and integration patterns.
• Support troubleshooting and incident response efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• U.S. Citizenship required for designated client projects.
• 4+ years of experience in backend engineering.
• Proficiency in implementing rules-based engines.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures.
• Experience with common backend languages and frameworks.
• Familiarity with API security and data encryption.
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams.
