We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Modeling Specialist to join our team. This specialist will utilize advanced modeling techniques to predict and analyze corrosion and fouling phenomena within refinery environments. This role requires a deep understanding of corrosion and fouling mechanisms specific to refinery operations, material science, and computational modeling to support the development and implementation of effective corrosion/fouling management and prevention strategies.

In Short

• Develop and apply computational models to predict corrosion/fouling behavior in refinery equipment and piping.
• Analyze and interpret data from corrosion/fouling experiments, field data, and simulations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on refinery-specific corrosion/fouling issues.
• Prepare and present detailed technical reports on modeling findings.
• Stay current with advancements in corrosion science and modeling techniques.
• Assist in the development and implementation of monitoring and prevention programs.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and methodologies for corrosion/fouling management.
• Mentor and train junior engineers on modeling techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corrosion modeling.
• Proficiency in computational modeling software and tools.
• Strong understanding of refinery processes and corrosion mechanisms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
