Project Health, Safety, Security & Environment Specialist - Remote

Overview

This challenging yet exciting role puts you in the driving seat of our efforts to build and maintain an environmentally sustainable, healthy and safe workplace. You’ll provide safety support to all projects, ensuring they all meet our own established standards and that of local safety regulations.

In Short

• Conduct safety review meetings with project and design teams.
• Ensure high-risk activities have proper safety work method statements (SWMS).
• Perform site inspections and risk reports.
• Promote workplace safety through awareness and education.
• Mentor and coach safety officers and non-safety professionals.
• Obtain and maintain relevant professional licenses.
• Coordinate with project and operations managers for safety compliance.
• Identify and devise measures to meet stakeholders’ business needs.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills are vital.
• Build team relationships and interact effectively with business partners.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of experience in construction safety.
• Solid background in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices.
• Proven track record in providing safety trainings.
• Well-versed in project safety systems and processes.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to listen and be open to suggestions.
• Experience in mentoring and coaching.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create awareness and educate stakeholders.
• Proficient in safety regulations and compliance.
