HVAC Technician - Remote

Overview

The HVAC Technician will perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems, ensuring the maintenance and operation of HVAC systems and associated equipment.

In Short

• Perform preventive and repair work on HVAC systems.
• Maintain and operate electrical distribution and plumbing systems.
• Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions.
• Comply with safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Utilize CMMS systems for work order management.
• Complete required safety trainings.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Physical work including lifting and climbing.
• Available for call-in work and other duties as required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of technical experience in building engineering.
• Universal CFC recovery certification required.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
• Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in relevant fields.
• Ability to work in adverse conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Experience with building automation and fire/life safety systems preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to recognize and propose solutions for safety hazards.
