Frontend Developer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Frontend Developer to join our R&D team at REAL. As a member of our front-end engineering team, you will play a key role in implementing new features, troubleshooting bugs, and leading the technical vision and strategy for both our web and mobile applications.

In Short

• Implement new features and squash bugs across the React/Redux web app and React Native mobile app.
• Lead and influence the overall technical vision and strategy for frontend engineering.
• Work closely with engineers, participate in pairing sessions, and conduct code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers in software engineering methodologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and ensure efficient execution.
• Advocate for long-term improvements and provide recommendations for the frontend codebase.

Requirements

• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and React Native.
• Proficient in writing tests using Jest and Cypress/Playwright.
• Demonstrated ability to make technical decisions for frontend development.
• A collaborative attitude, with the ability to mentor less-experienced engineers.
• Comfortable working with a distributed team across multiple time zones.
• Experience with Next.js, Redux Toolkit, Tailwind CSS, and familiarity with Storybook and Figma.
