Food & Safety Quality Manager - Remote

Overview

RBPRSLLC is looking for candidates to fill the position of Food & Safety Quality Manager. This role involves developing and overseeing food safety and quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a team in a collaborative environment.

In Short

• Develop and implement food safety and quality assurance programs.
• Investigate quality issues with manufacturing and warehouse personnel.
• Conduct internal audits and lead third-party inspections.
• Monitor and improve production and sanitation processes.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate validation of new equipment impacting product quality.
• Ensure accurate documentation for quality systems.
• Lead training on food safety and QA best practices.
• Manage a team of sanitation and quality inspectors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in food science, Microbiology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing quality assurance.
• Working knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, SQF, GMPs.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis tools preferred.
• Experience supporting production teams with quality initiatives.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in documentation and quality management systems.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
