Senior Systems Engineer - High-Performance Computing (HPC) - Remote

Overview

Rackspace is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HPC System Engineer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for working directly for one of our flagship clients and designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing their high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure. You will work closely with researchers, scientists, and other engineers to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of the HPC systems.

• Install, configure, and maintain HPC clusters.
• Monitor system performance and optimize it.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 10 years of experience with systems; 5 years in HPC.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Experience with cluster management tools.
• Familiarity with high-speed interconnects.
• Knowledge of parallel file systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages.
• Understanding of HPC hardware architectures.
• Experience with configuration management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
