Overview

The Network Security Engineer is a key element within the Rackspace support infrastructure, providing high-level technical support to customers through various channels and managing complex issues.

In Short

• Provide technical support via phone, ticketing system, and automation.
• Troubleshoot customer network environments and configurations.
• Support elements of the Rackspace Cloud product portfolio.
• Build and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure across various platforms.
• Prevent security gaps and ensure operational efficiency.
• Configure and troubleshoot Firewalls & Load Balancers.
• Create documentation for support tasks.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to build customer relationships.
• Engineer and implement customized security solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years’ experience as a NetSec Engineer.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
• Certifications: CCNP/IE and F5.
• Advanced knowledge of customer service management.
• Experience with AI/Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity.
• Strong DevOps and Network/Systems skills.
