Inventory Control Specialist I - Remote

Overview

The Inventory Control Specialist I is responsible for ensuring accountability and security of data center inventory while adhering to company safety policies and inventory controls.

In Short

• Manage and process internal tickets with limited supervision.
• Process equipment returning to secured inventory stockroom.
• Execute physical movements of inventory.
• Maintain meticulous 5S and housekeeping practices.
• Participate in root cause analysis for customer-impacting events.
• Assist in training of new and existing controllers.
• Address inquiries from other internal/external departments.
• Process materials for disposals and manage inbound/outbound shipments.
• Demonstrate high levels of passion and enthusiasm in customer support.
• Communicate transparently to build trust with customers and coworkers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or regional equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a related field.
• Entry Level knowledge of inventory management processes.
• Analytical Skills and Computing Tools experience.
• Knowledge of integrated inventory control systems.
• Experience in Contract Management and Global Trade Compliance.
• Skills in Process Improvement and Sourcing/Supplier Management.
• Transportation Sourcing/Management experience.
