Cloud Software Architect - Remote

Overview

You will be part of a team designing, automating, and deploying services on behalf of our customers to AWS in a way that allows these services to automatically heal themselves if things go south.

In Short

• Work as a technical leader alongside customer business, development, and infrastructure teams.
• Lead technical and design discussions with IT executives.
• Architect and build highly scalable, cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Develop event-driven applications.
• Leverage new technology paradigms such as serverless and containers.
• Migrate monolithic applications to microservices architectures.
• Advise on implementing AWS best practices.
• Influence infrastructure architecture with application development expertise.
• Willingness to travel to client locations.

Requirements

• BS level technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development or application engineering experience.
• Recent coding experience in modern programming languages.
• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD.
